The Difference Engine: A Steampunk Adventure for Boys and Girls.

MIF Creative, (Manchester International Festival’s creative learning programme), the Museum of Science and Industry and the Centre for Urban Education have co-commissioned a brand new show from Walk the Plank and Thingumajig Theatre.
The Difference Engine is an interactive journey through the courtyard of Manchester’s Town Hall where maths, history, puppetry and visual storytelling will combine to guide the audience from past to future through a landscape of machines and ideas.
First premièring in July at Manchester International Festival’s The Great Indoors, the show will then be reinvented for the Museum of Science & Industry for autumn 2009.
