Take a glimpse behind the scenes…
On Sunday 28th of June, Walk the Plank joined Portsmouth Festivities in celebrating Henry VIII’s birthday, the 500th anniversary of the commissioning of the Mary Rose and the finale of their 10 day long festivities.
The day included a colourful procession and a dramatic fire show at Southsea Common. The centrepiece of Ghost Ship: A pageant for Portsmouth was a beautiful sculptural bonfiredesigned by Pete Mountain and took a week to build. To catch a glimpse behind the scenes of the making of the bonfire and to relive this dramatic show, click here. Walk the Plank would like to thank the team, our partners and all involved.
