The ship’s cargo hold was dramatically transformed into a theatre once anchor was dropped in port, and opened up a magical world of drama, music and performance to a family audience including many children who had never seen theatre before… thousands of young people Walk the Plank’s annual visit was a highlight in the calendar, and the sight of the brightly painted ship in harbour was a cause for celebration.
