Liz is a founder and director of Apus Productions Limited since the company was established in 2007. She originally trained at the Chelsea College of Art and the London College of Fashion and has worked as a costume designer and maker since 2001, on shows ranging from West End musicals to community operas. With Apus she now specialises in producing and touring walkabout street theatre and giant puppetry, with making commissions from a local theatre and many independent theatre companies.

About Liz
Walk the Plank were instrumental in helping Liz start the project – Hull Carnival Arts in 2014 when they ran the Freedom Festival in Hull. Mentoring and coaching her and her business partner of the time, to create a limited company and successfully run a large carnival parade in Hull City centre as part of the Freedom festival.
Liz has attended many of the CPD sessions linked to the Manchester Day parade ran by Walk the Plank. She also received great business advice from Nick Clarke in 2019 when he attended an Apus board meeting. Liz is a great advocate for the work of Walk the Plank and believes in and follows their ethos.
