Ru Brooks

Ru has jumped aboard as Walk the Plank’s Company Administrator after spending the last 6 years working and studying in Bristol. Since completing his MSc in Event Management, he’s spent time working and collaborating with ambitious arts charities (Creative Youth Network; Many Minds), music festivals (Glastonbury; Shambala; Boomtown) and dynamic outdoor arts organisations (DOCA, Without Walls).

With Walk the Plank, he works backstage to keep the organisational wheels of the company turning, supporting the Executive Director and connecting the team so they can keep making magic happen! He oversees and supports organisational processes, premises, project evaluation, IT support, HR, sustainability and anything else the team can throw at him.

When he’s away from work you’ll find him producing music, reading sci-fi or out on his gravel bike rolling towards a cosy country pub.
