This intimate experience provided a fiery meeting point for festival-goers at the end of a spectacular day of music.
Our partnership with bluedot began at the very first festival in 2016, when we created The Outer Space. We returned again in 2017 with Space Walk, a unique gathering place that came into its own late in the evening.
Then for 2019, we created Space Walk, a fiery light and sound experience comprising a series of fire-illuminated metal boxes designed by Hannelora Johansson, featuring plasma-cut images of lunar landscapes and the solar system. To mark the 50th anniversary of the Apollo moon landings, the soundscape included recordings of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin from the Apollo 11 and Lunar Module Eagle mission.
