Tanica Powell

Tanica originally comes from an fine art background. She studied for a degree in fine art at Manchester School of Art, specialising in etching, before diving into a career in marketing and communications within the arts and culture sector. 

She previously worked at Contact theatre in multiple digital marketing and content roles while taking on various freelance projects, before coming to Walk the Plank as Marketing and Communications Officer, before moving on to become the Senior Marketing and Communications Officer, and now is the Digital Marketing Manager. Tanica works on everything from social media, email marketing, PR and proposal creation to website content management and reporting. She is a member of Sustainability working group and the co-chair of the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging working group.

When Tanica isn’t working, you’ll find her travelling and exploring different cultures, at a gig, in a museum or at a restaurant – her love for ramen is unmatched.
